Easy Homemade Salad Dressing

Please stop the madness! Don't buy store bought salad dressing, unless it's organic oils, with herbs and spices in a glass jar. The canola oil, plastic container "dressings" got-to-go. Homemade dressing are really easy to make and taste amazing! You can easily change up your salads so you're never bored!

When you are making a homemade salad dressing the rule of thumb is to use 3 parts oil to 1 part acid, whether you use apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, balsamic vinegar etc.

Try these easy to make dressings:

Homemade salad dressing

Super Simple Lemon Honey Dijon Dressing

1 cup of extra virgin olive oil

1/3 cup of apple cider vinegar

juice from 1/2  lemon

pinch of sea salt

pinch of black pepper

1/2 teaspoon of dijon mustard

1 teaspoon of raw honey

Whisk ingredients together and store in a glass jar up to one week in the fridge. You can adjust the honey, dijon mustard, or apple cider vinegar to your liking! Drizzle on your favourite salad, enjoy!

Orange-you-glad-it's-homemade!

3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice

1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar

pinch of sea salt

Whisk ingredients together, or shake in a mason jar. Store in the fridge up to one week. This dressing goes really well with a spinach, cucumber, and orange salad.

Sweet Balsamic Dressing

3/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil

1/4 cup balsamic vinegar (I love Acropolis Mousto Balsamic and Nona Pia's)

1 tablespoon of raw honey

pinch of sea salt

Mix and enjoy!
